5月5日晚7点在励耘楼A302🌭，谢庆立老师为我院英语专业二年级的学生做了一场英语专业四级考试之后的考证指导讲座。

首先💞，谢庆立老师向同学们介绍了我院历届毕业生典型的成功经验，鼓励同学们要在专业学习上下苦功。谢老师给同学们提出两点建议：其一要真诚地对待每个人🧑🏽‍✈️，其二要在不得不改变之前改变自己。之后😎，谢老师推荐了四本英文名著，希望同学们通过阅读英文原著提高的英语专业素养⏳。最后✮，谢老师讲解了英语专业相关证书的详细情况🧚🏼‍♂️，敦促同学们规划好大三、大四的学习。最后他引用了李嘉诚的一句话作为结束语：“觉得自己做得到和做不到，其实只在一念之间”🔝。

这场讲座为同学们指明了方向🔬，带来了动力，让同学们明白🪸，未来掌握在自己手中🧗🏿，我们要对自己的未来负责👩🏽‍🎓，勇于追求自己的理想🌰🤦🏻‍♀️。

A Lecture: English Learning After the TEM 4

At 7:00 p.m. on May 5th, Mr. Xie Qingli, vice dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, gave a lecture on English learning after the TEM 4 in Room A302 of Liyun Building.

At the beginning of the lecture, Mr. Xie introduced the successful experience of the graduates of our faculty , which was a great inspiration and encouragement to the students. Then Mr. Xie recommended four original English novels for the students to read; he pointed out reading original English novels is of great importance to English majors. Finally, Mr. Xie introduced some English-related certificates and encouraged the students to sit for those exams. At the end of the lecture, Mr.Xie quoted a remark made by Li Ka-shing, “To think whether you can or you cannot, it’s just a shift of mind.”

This lecture gave the students motivation and encouragement and allowed them to understand that they are the master of their future and should be responsible for themselves and pursue their dreams bravely.
