September 25, the Faculty of Foreign Languages received 303 freshmen from all over the country, which indicates the number of full-time undergraduates of the faculty has amounted to over 1000. Of all the freshmen, 215 students are English majors, 88 students Japanese majors.

The faculty organized a variety of activities and held lectures in the orientation week, so as to familiarize the students with and help them adapt to the new surroundings and their campus life. The freshmen will start their course learning from the third teaching week.
