演讲人：Mr. Tim Musgrave

Mr. Tim Musgrave is a thirty-something EFL teacher from the UK. He graduated from Leicester University and received a Bachelors Degree in American Studies in 1997. Recently Tim completed a higher certificate in teaching English (2010) and this coming year (2011) is looking to further that education with a reputable English university. His interests lie in blended learning and online learning and he is currently researching the use of Learning Management Systems in language learning.

The presentations will introduce the details of the history of reality TV, from Big Brother to The Apprentice.

The average man can become an overnight star, but is this entertainment or just cheap scheduling?

The presentation will consider the emergence of this new form of entertainment and the consequences for light entertainment..

How did it happen?

The content will be UK based programmes, but will also consider the world-wide spread of reality TV and the development of Twitter and Facebook.
