11月18日晚7点，由金湾区主办的珠海市第四届大学生双语演讲比赛决赛于吉林大学珠海校区举行💁🏿♂️。外院09级的韩朵和杨岑在本次比赛中均获得优胜奖，而杨岑继本次比赛后又于11月20日获得“外研社杯”全国英语演讲比赛广东省赛区二等奖👩🏿🚀。
本次比赛的主题是“‘净畅宁美’在行动🏌🏻♂️，绿色环保创文明”，旨在响应珠海市政府倡导的建设‘净畅宁美’的文明城市的号召🤦🏽♀️，探讨大学生该如何配合政府创建文明城市。在初赛中，珠海市9所高校每校选派2人参加比赛👳🏽♂️，最后9名选手晋级决赛🏐，而我校的2名选手均以优秀成绩晋级决赛🌠。决赛当天，由外院吴文霞老师带队，9名后援团同学随选手到达比赛现场。
整场比赛分为双语演讲和才艺表演两个环节🤾🏼♂️。在双语演讲环节⚾️，选手们立足珠海🦦、放眼世界👩🏽🚒，有的以身边的生活小事为例，有的列举社会热点问题，还有的以居民幸福感为主题，纷纷倡议大学生们行动起来去环保，并积极为珠海市政府献计献策。我们的选手在这一环节的表现很突出，韩朵的演讲充满了理性的特点，她以两则新闻为例，着重于珠海的水质问题，倡导保护珠海的海洋生态环境。她优美的语音得到了评委的赞扬👩🏽🦰。杨岑演讲的题目是“珠海，绿色之城”🌶，她的视角独特创意新颖，立足于我们学校为绿色环保做了什么，以我校的绿色天使队等例子说明了大学生在环保中的实际行动。评委点评时说她的演讲很具吸引力。
在才艺表演环节👳🏼♂️，选手们献上了韩国西班牙等各类歌曲舞蹈〰️。在各类舞台风格中🏋🏿♂️，我院选手以清新脱俗的特点脱颖而出🖖🏼。韩朵独具匠心🍶，她选择的是诗朗诵，以优美的语言朗诵了《钗头凤》并讲述了陆游和唐婉凄美的爱情故事，深深的打动了在场观众⁉️。而杨岑演唱的英文歌《Pretty Boy》💈，以其优美的音色，又给观众带去了不同的听觉享受👩👩👧。
最后，韩朵和杨岑均获得优胜奖，我校获得优秀组织奖。我院两名选手的精彩的演讲和清新的舞台风格得到了吉大老师的肯定与赞扬。（郭蕊）
On November 18 th, Zhuhai Collegiate Bilingual Speaking Contest was held in Jilin university, zhuhai campus. The two participants from SFL, Han Duo and Yang Cen, both won the Excellence Award.
In response to Zhuhai municipal government''s proposal that to make Zhuhai more clean, unobstructed, peaceful and beautiful, this contest aimed at encouraging undergraduates to protect the environment. 18 participants from 9 universities in Zhuhai attended the preliminary contest, and 9 entered the final. Among them, the two participants from our university both became finalists with success. Ms. Wu Wenxia, Vice Director of the English Department from SFL, and 9 students accompanied them to this contest.
The contest consisted of two sections: bilingual speaking contest and art performance. In the bilingual speaking contest section, 9 finalists delivered their speeches by listing the little things in their daily life or the major issues of the world as support of their arguments.
Han Duo''s speech began with two pieces of news and focused on the quality of water resources which she though was very important for Zhuhai. Her standard pronunciation was praised by the judge.
And the title of Yang Cen''s speech was "Zhuhai, a green city". She talked about what BNUZ students did for the environmental protection, which was very unique among the contestants. The judge commended it as very attractive.
In the art performance section, participants sang songs or performed dances. Among them, the Chinese Antient Poetry Reading made Han Duo very special and outstanding. She read the poem "Chai Tou Feng" which was written by Lu You and Tang Wan, poets of Song Dynasty, and then told their love story. It moved the audience successfully.
Yang Cen sang an English song "Pretty Boy". Her nice voice won applause of the audience. And the judge said it was a good performance.
Finally, Han Duo and Yang Cen won the Excellence Award. And our university won the Excellent Organization Award. After the contest, a teacher from Jilin university, zhuhai campus said to Ms. Wu that the performance of our participants in this contest was very great and impressive.
