10月25日🌚，由广东外国语言学会主办、九游会平台承办的广东外国语言学会2014年年会在我校国际交流中心隆重举行。年会主题为“如何解读外语类专业教学质量国家标准及外语教学”。华南理工大学秦秀白教授、中山大学黄国文教授、广东外语外贸大学王初明教授等200多位专家、学者济济一堂🏋🏿，莅临我校参与本次年会♋️。会议由华南理工大学九游会平台院长兼年会秘书长钟书能教授主持。我校常务副校长傅爱兰出席了本次会议。
傅爱兰教授就本次会议在我校召开表示祝贺🧑🏼🍼，她认为这是对我校办学成果的积极肯定🔏，更是对九游会平台十几年来所取得的教学成绩的认可。华南理工大学兼年会会长秦秀白教授就年会的发展历程🧑🏽💻、现状及本次会议的主题进行了简单介绍🌽。教育部高等学校英语类专业教学指导分委员会秘书长⚂、广东外语外贸大学冯光武教授及我校九游会平台院长陶文好教授等九位专家、学者围绕英语专业教学质量及教学改革等方面展开精彩的主旨发言。其中，陶文好教授阐释了九游会平台2014年省级教改课题——英语专业综合改革中“CBC+BBB”的具体含义，从课程体系和培养模式两个方面向与会嘉宾介绍了本校英语专业综合改革的课程内容及改革思路🧑🏿⚕️。
参会的上百位专家、学者们就近期的研究成果向组委会解读、介绍了自己的研究项目及成果，参会人员进行了热烈讨论。其中🧑🏻🦽，中山大学陈洋老师就“打造‘新时代、接地气’的口译课堂”发表了自己的见解🤷，他描述并分析了该课程的题材设置与课堂活动设计🧑🏻🦽，提出培养更加适合市场需求的高素质译员的观点。南方医科大学的吴让科副教授，则以“‘外语语用能力可教吗𓀓？’——近十年外语语用教学研究回顾”为题做专题报告。中山大学的谢桂霞老师将研究视角切入莎士比亚名剧《哈姆雷特》🚣🏿，将双关喻为“王子的面具”🥼，对于双关的使用和人物塑造作出深刻分析👳♀️。汕头大学的文兵老师提出英美音分组教学模式，即使用英汉对比、英美对比等方法，并将其应用于课堂，纠正英语专业学生英美音混合使用的现象。据悉，该模式应用于教学活动收效显著🫸🏽，在第四分会场上一经提出便获得肯定与赞誉。
本次会议不仅为广东省百余位高校语言类教师创造了交流机会，使得最新语言教学观点、成果得以借鉴、传播🫥，而且对于提高广东省高校外语教育质量也具有相当重要的作用。

The Annual Conference of Guangdong Foreign Languages Association in 2014, themed as “Foreign Language Teaching and the Interpretation of the Foreign Language Teaching Quality with the National Standard in Higher Education ”, hosted by Guangdong Foreign Language Association, was held successfully by School of Foreign Languages in Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai on October 25th .Consecutive Vice President Fu Ailan in BNU, with more than 200 scholars and professors, including Professor Qin Xiubai from South China University of Technology, Professor Huang Guowen from Sun Yat-sen University, Professor Tao Wenhao, dean of School of Foreign Languages in Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai attended the conference.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Zhong Shuneng, General Secretary of the Association and Professor of South China University of Technology. In the plenary session, Professor Fu Ailan congratulated the conference, praising that it is an affirmative proof of achievement by BNU and the School of Foreign Languages. Professor Qin Xiubai illustrated the development of the committee and its updated research result. Feng Guangwu, Secretary of the ELT Advisory Board under the Ministry of Education explained the Foreign Language Teaching Quality with the National Standard in Higher Education. Professor Tao Wenhao, addressed his speech titled with “Reform of Foreign Language Teaching: CBC+BBB”. He introduced the main content of the comprehensive reform of English Majors from two aspects: curriculum design and cultivation pattern. In addition, many experts had brought their latest research achievements and exchanged actively with each other. In the theme session, the annual meeting was participated and attended by scholars in terms of their main research. Chen Yang, teacher from Sun Yat-sen University, described the interpretation course design, aiming to cultivate top-quality interpreters. Wu Rangke, associate professor from Southern Medical University discussed the probabilities of pragmatics teaching. Xie Guixia, described the use of pun in Hamlet and character analysis. What impressed the audience deeply and was heatedly discussed is the idea proposed by Wen Bin, teacher from Shantou University, advocating the group division in teaching English by American English and British English.
The conference could be of great success promoting not only the quality of foreign language teaching, but also the academic exchange between teachers and scholars in our province .
