The Japanese Corner:The School Trip
By Zhan Jingshi
The Japanese Corner was held in the Library lobby at 6 p.m. on April 14, Mr. Wataru Sato, Mr. Hiromasa Meguro and Ms. Kayoko Matsushima attended it.
The three teachers talked about their school trip today. The school trip, different from Chinese spring tour or autumn outing, was a short trip organized by the school. Meguro said he had been to the Hiroshima, Nagasaki and so on at that time. Kayoko said that she had been to the Hiroshima as well as Tokyo''s Disneyland and so on. And Sato also shared his experience about his school trip in Hiroshima. Moreover, from the trip, the three teachers knew the history of Hiroshima''s atom bomb and all of them thought that war was harmful for human beings that we should try our best to secure world peace.
In Japanese, corresponding with the spring tour or autumn outing, "hiking" is more appropriate. In addition, Japanese students'' "hiking" destinations are mostly the sewage plants and the bread factories. Today the Japanese corner ended at nine thirty.
