2015年5月18日至5月24日🤹🏿‍♂️，第十八届“外研社·京东杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛全国总决赛在北京外研社国际会议中心举行👮‍♂️🦢。在参赛的两百多名精英辩手中⛹🏻，经过激烈角逐👩🏻‍💻，我校九游会平台学生耿旸旸与特许经营J9九游会邓紫珺同学代表我校英语辩论队荣获二等奖🦕，充分展现出我校学生的英语水平以及过硬的综合素质。

本届比赛共吸引了全国四百多所高校参加🚶🏻‍♀️‍➡️，经过地区赛选拨👎🏼，从全国6大赛区中脱颖而出的108支队伍参加了本次总决赛，其中包括北京大学、清华大学🟦、北京外国语大学、复旦大学❄️、澳门大学等众多名校派出的辩论队🤽🏼‍♀️。

“外研社杯”全国英语辩论赛由共青团中央学校部👩‍🏭、全国学联秘书处、北京外国语大学举办💪🏽，比赛采用英国议会制辩论赛制，参赛选手不仅要有渊博的知识🧚🏼，还需要具备公共演说❇️、逻辑思辨、快速反应等多方面的能力。其权威性😋、规模以及品牌影响力已被全国广大的英语教师及在校大学生所认可🤳。

Geng Yangyang and Deng Zijun,the debate team from School of Foreign Languages won the Second Prize in the Finals of the 18th ‘FLTRP·JD.COM CUP’ National English Debating Competition which was held in Beijing from May 18th to 24th, showing a high standard of English proficiency and excellent comprehensive quality of the students.

One hundred and eight debate teams made it into the Finals including those from well-known universities like Peking University, Tsinghua University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Fudan University and University of Macau.

Jointly organized by the School Department of the Communist Youth League of China, the Secretariat of All-China Students Federation and Beijing Foreign Studies University, the FLTRP National English Debating Competition is one of the most popular English speaking contests and has attracted an increasing number of registered undergraduates. The competition adopted the British Parliament debating format in 2010 and requires debaters to have not only profound knowledge, but also comprehensive ability in public speaking, critical thinking and quick reaction.
