5月9日上午8点30分，外院2015届毕业生论文答辩会在励耘楼准时开始🏄🏿。答辩分为十二个小组在不同教室同时进行。

答辩的步骤分为三步。首先，毕业生们对自己的论文进行三到五分钟的简单阐述，包括提出择选主题的理由🧕🏻👰🏻‍♀️、分析论文的内容与结构、论文写作意义与发现等等。随后🦘，导师们针对论文细节内容进行提问，由学生进行答辩。最后答辩小组对毕业生们的回答进行商讨并且评定成绩☝️。

答辩现场安静严肃，答辩有条不紊的进行，现场除了答辩者和导师们外，还有不少的本科生前来观看。大部分的毕业生陈述口语流利，展现较高的语言水平，出色地完成了答辩。

在答辩之后🥹，记者随机采访了几位毕业生🪵。他们表示在答辩时有些许紧张，但不妨碍答辩的继续🧜🏼‍♀️，同时纷纷希望自己的答辩能够取得好的成绩。另外🐩，毕业生们建议低年级学生们要尽早完成论文🗻、充分作好论文答辩的准备，使得自己的答辩更加出彩。

此次论文答辩检测了毕业生们对论文的熟悉程度🧪👨‍🍳，审视了他们心理素质和现场应变能力。同时，低年级学生从中借鉴了经验教训。

SFL Holds Thesis Defense for Graduates of 2015

On May 9th, the thesis defense for the graduates of 2015 from the School of Foreign Languages was held in Liyun Building. Twelve defense teams of English and Japanese majors attended it in different classrooms.

The defense involved three parts. Firstly, students made a 3 to 5-minute presentation. Students mainly stated reasons for choosing the topics, analyzed the structure of the theses and presented the purpose and findings of them. Then, the tutors asked detailed questions regarding the details of the papers and presentation. Finally, the tutors evaluated and graded students’ performance. The defense was in good order. Most students performed excellently.

After the defense, several graduates were randomly interviewed. Most of them were worried about their own performance and hoped they could ge a good grade; they also suggested that lower-grade students should make a sufficient preparation for thesis writing in the future.
